Sounds like Cali was a real barn burner........You wanna tallk barn burner let's talk about the 250 in particular that last 13 laps after the final restart the first 8 cars run like maniacs. With 5 to go the top 3 came off turn 4 pretty much 3 wide & never wrecked. The crowd got an emotional surprise winner, Craig slawnwhite in the Late Scott Fraser's car. One side note SLM driver Hal O'Neal was involed in a really bad wreck during his heat & as of this afternoon was still in ICU but awake. Also props to Speedway 660 for the catch fence as his car was headed for the main grandstand but the fence did it's job.

Sounds like the top 3 were the class of the field.
Only 8 cars left on the lead lap, by about half way, what happened, not much of any coverage on Checkers to Wreckers, what were the highlights.
I was surprised to see Slaunwhite as the winner, he really hadn't impressed me much until lately when he got his first win on the Carquest tour. Much of the season he didn't drive very smartly for the kind of car that is under him.
How was Hornaday's race.
Thanks

Highlites
- Kittleson started on pole & ran away the first 60 or so laps
- then it was Johnny Clark for 40 laps or so
- then Wayne Smith got out front & was wicked fast until after the 200 lap mark
- Wayne drove dirty all night & was being warned constantly by track officials
- He beat on Kittleson early until kittleson just let him go & he run Johnny up the track everytime he got along side him.
-Slaunwhite pitted really late & made the most of his fresh tires
-After the last restart thing got really crazy with alot of "HARD" racing
-Travis Benjamin,Smith & Slaunwhite emerged with 8 to go
-Travis got Wayne completly side ways off of 4 & that allowed Slaunwhite to get by
- Even after that Smith beat on his rear bumper pretty steady
Slaunwhite drove a very smart race in his heat & the 250
- Hornaday was good & ran in the 7-4 position all night until he pitted & got messed up in others wrecks & he soldered home 12th.
Nice guy, late Saturday was in the pits & no one was around & had a short conversation with him
- I think if he came back with the experience he gained this year he would be a contender
Hope this is good info for you
