We lost Gary Nixon yesterday to an apparent heart attack. The man was a legend, and remained an influential precence in the AMA paddock. MotoGP star Nicky Hayden always referred to him as an ongoing influence in his riding. He will be sorely missed.Im not sure i believe in heaven and the like, but Id sure like to believe there is one hell of a reunion party going on up there right now with Nixon and Barry Sheene leading the festivities.
