If we can get the entire team to fire on all cylinders, I think all will be good. I think whether it's the Wings or Sharks, this will let the team open up and play their type of hockey.

And yes, I'm a Luongo fan, but hey, when you stand around waiting for shots, anyone can fall off their game. He did well when peppered against Chicago.

The Canucks can adapt and play, but that slow game that Nashville plays really isn't conducive to the Canucks real type of play and really, who wants to play slow hockey?

and before the rest of you sh!t on RL, remember he had no defense or offense in front of him. defense was a -11 in total tonight. sure he should have probably have had a few of those, but he still stopped some that could have been goals and it looked like the team had quit with about 8 min's to go.

boston came in playing a must win game and did just that. the first period looked like it was going to be another goalie game, that being said, I expect a different team to show up Thursday and go back to playing the way they should.

The Ultimate Irony.

So, I am not a big fan of hockey, but I do tune in throughout the season, and I definitely watched the game last night..............until it become lopsided. At that point I switched over to a US station to watch a rerun of "Blue Bloods" (gotta love satellite).

Anyways, as it turns out the station is in Boston. Suffice to say when the game ended they switched over to the joyous street scenes; Bruins fans happily supporting their team after the win.

And now for the ironic part............some of the fans were cheering "USA! USA! USA!" outside of the home of the Bruins............the TD Garden. Duhhhhhh, are these people not aware of the fact that TD is a CANADIAN bank???Are they not aware of the fact that 17 of their 26 players are CANADIAN???? Geez almighty, these people really do need to engage their brain before making themselves look stupid. This was not a victory for the United States, it was a victory for a professional hockey team that happens to be located in the good ole US of A.

Nonetheless, congrats to the Bruins and all of their supporters.

Sadly, the 'real' fans downtown far outnumbered the idiots and could have done their part by stopping a great deal of the destruction before it started. Well my friends, it's not that I'm in hiding or hanging my head in shame(for the Canucks' that is).

But the day before the game, my wife lost her father to cancer and I've been a bit occupied with that.

I did however watch the game, thankfully a friend called me to come watch the debacle that was game 7, as my wife was away to stay her mom as I could not go right away, but went up Thursday night.

Having spent too much time watching the crap that ensued, the riots, it reminded me of the 70's in Belfast Ireland, the newsreel clips I saw on tv. The only thing missing was dead bodies and gun fire.

I am truly appalled at what went on and could not be any more disgusted than the rest of you. This is by no means a direct reflection of Vancouver, it's people or it's true Canuck fans.

I too, hope all of these little bastards are caught and dealt with in the most severe way.

As for the couple on the street, story is she was hit/knocked down by a cop(incidental contact) and her boyfriend laid down to comfort her.
