Wow!! It's never a good time to lose valuable equipment like this, especially while trailing in the championship with a few races to go. Penske will bounce back.

I'm glad no one got hurt. You hear a lot of stories of wheel hub and bearing fires on buses and tractor-trailers that don't turn out so lucky.

Never good to hear of any team hitting that kind of hard luck- that being said- since it has happened :D, I'm sheepishly smiling that it was Penske. I've read they will be very short on equipment for Sonoma- from parts, to pit boxes, even uniforms. The Captain's team just may see what it's like to be one of the ChampCar teams this weekend.

Only thing better would have been if it was AGR- but not that I'd take pleasure in the misfortunes of others, shame on me. ;) :D

Didn't think the AGR trailers could burn, you know, since Weepy Waaanica probably keeps everything pretty wet!! :eek: (Not something you want to see happen to any team, glad everyone was ok.)

You're probably right, as I'm sure the trailer they haul Danica's ego in is well fire suppressed. :)
