I've thrown my leg over a few hogs in my day, one of them was even a bike:D
I'll get my bike out in a week or two. I need to get a new battery sometime this spring, other then that I'm ready to go

Nice to see you still got the bike Kool, not looked in on the forum for a while !
Spring seems to have arrived in the UK after the worst winter I've ever seen here. Not got out much over winter on the Blackbird or the Duc 1098 save for the last few weekends.
You seen the new Norton Commando 961 sport? I saw pics of it when Kenny Dreer was behind it and loved it, then saw that Stuart Garner had bought it out and brought it back to the UK. I sat on one at the UK bike show last December and figured 'ahh what the hell' and bought one!
Well I paid for one.... I spoke to them today and was told it'll be ready mid to late April. :)
Yes I still have da Black Mule still....but boy you are quite the collector dude.
I do love the Norton and they are suppose to have a dealer here in Newmarket Ontario...supposedly...they do have a address. I seen it at one of the shows last year...it's awesome. I have a buddy who had a old Commando and still talks about it and drools everytime he sees the new one...I have a picture of it on my office wall.
You are one lucky guy...congrats. We had a rough winter here too...with snow still on the ground...will have to wait another week or two.

I originaly ordered it in the black n gold like in the picture but a few weeks back I told them I'd like it in the Manx colour scheme of Silver tank n tail with black sidepanel/airbox. Either of those colours works for me though

Cafe style is the only one I could find in that colour combo...still it's freakin brilliant

There's a distinct lack of pictures on the web from new customers thats for sure!
This pic is from a guy who collected his manx coloured 961 a couple of weeks back.

I love seeing what the BB members ride.....in my case....wife was kinda vague about 2-wheeled demon-machines from day 1, so, this is about all I could safely bring home without being in divorce court.....:o :o

3 wheelers were all banned they say too dangerous...I know I had one. Not quite like yours...lol.

Yeah, I know Kool. In my case, I didn't need HP to be reckless. 2 or 3 wheels with no motor, skates, skis and a variety of contact sports have been reckelss enough for my body over 51 years......to this day my parents are amazed I survived past the age of 4....:o :o
Ya me too...were about the same age...I'm 52 in June...can't believe that...no way.
Played tons sports.. rugby, hockey almost all my life, wrestled, football...etc. But I always had my toys too..3&4 wheelers...snowmobiles...boat...now motorcycle...well I had one before....full circle I guess. The bike is just so awesome...only twice today did someone try to kill me...not bad...lol. First ride today and I took one of my daughters with me on the bike, to the shop to get my truck. Installed the new levers...very cool...and so was the ride home tonight.
