wow, you cannot ask for a better weekend of racing to end the season than we got in sydney. that was absolutely phenomenal, in terms of sheer entertainment. and for the whincup fans, even if he'd got credited with a finish on saturday, he would have come up short
saturday- the rain makes an already good race great. all 3 of the championship contenders crash into the wall on their own, almost simultaneously??? then we get a situation similar to the champ car surfers race a few years ago and spa F1 a decade ago (but nowhere near as disastrous as either...). have you ever watched such incredible drama as NOTHING happened as during the repair time after that? absolutely awesome
sunday- continuous drama for the contenders, a ton of action, just pure entertainment. I was on the edge of my seat all day. all courtney has to do is finish 22+, easy. but then problems on the pit stop, and who knows? all kinds of different strategies, who knew what was goign to happen. feel very bad for van giesbergen, would have loved to see his first win
