gran turismo 5 - ferrari f2007... i got it!

woohoo!!!!!

i finally got the f1 car available in gt5 prologue! its awesome.... it feels so good to be able to chase down a ferrari 430, audi r8, corvette, and a nissan gt-r in one lap :-)

the way this car is modeled though, its much more realistic than in formula 1 championship. it looks stunning, and when you go in-car mode, you realize how hard it is for f1 drivers to see (the front is so high up and there is antenna right in the middle of your view)... no rear view mirrors either! the sound though, is incredible!!!!

has anyone else got this car yet? i just got it last night, so will share more experiences when i get to play more

sorry to take so long, but there is no screenshot capture feature in gt5p, so i had to take them with my camera (i also shrunk them to make them small).

its ps3 exclusive! if you dont have it, i highly recommend it since its only 30 bucks (it was 39.99 but i think they had it on sale at best buy recently), and the full version isnt going to come out for another year or so. but they keep on updating gt5 prologue, and are supposed to add on proper crash damage soon as well. my favourite game so far! i also have the current f1 game (based on 2006 - the last year schumi was in so i had to get it!), and thats also ps3 exclusive right now

i have to admit there were a few races in A class that i just could not beat. so after easily playing for 30-40 hours, i downloaded someone else game save which had enough points to earn the f1 car. i didnt want to simply complete races i had already won just to earn enough credits, i wanted to try and win every race... but A class is pretty hard, and once you complete that, S class is near impossible!

so msg me if you want my game save (or i can try and find the original one i downloaded). if you do download it, just make sure you get the right version (depends on what country you are in and if you got the psn/bluray version).

i have the north america bluray version if anyone wants...

sorry i didnt enable messaging when i setup my account. but here is the zip file so that anyone else can use it as well. credit goes to www.gamefaqs.com for this game save!

this is the one that i originally downloaded, so you hopefully shouldnt have any issues using this

to use this:
- unzip the granturismo zip file attached
- copy the entire PS3/SAVEDATA/BCUS98158-GAME- folder and all contents to a memory stick (the PS3 folder must be at the root)
- plug the memory stick into your ps3
- go to your game saved data (GAME -> SAVE DATA), and delete the existing gran turismo 5 save data ( i would also delete any replays you have)
- in the GAME - SAVE DATA on your ps3, you should also see the Memory Stick icon (or USB key whatever you have plugged in)
- access the memory stick and go to the gran turismo saved data. hit triangle and copy!

you are now the proud owner of a ferrari f2007!

hey, it worked for me. and i did it all by myself too!- the game save hack that is. not getting the f1 the hard way.
she is one nice car! but i think it would look better in silver!:eek:

hey, there hasnt been alot of action lately!

plus RD has said that it is not a ferrari painted silver, and when has a f1 boss ever not told the truth?

as for gt5, i like all the extra cars listed that i got with that game save.

for anyone wanting to pick up gran turismo, today (aug 27) is amazon.com ps3 gold box deals. gran turismo 5 is the deal of the day at 22.99, and i also think the logitech gt steering wheel will be a lightning deal as well. :eek:
