View Full Version : Tracy rumored to Ganassi???

With Kanaan confirmed at AGR, PT is arguably one of the front runners for the Ganassi ride. If this is the case, will it be a three car team or does one of the current drivers not come back?

I would be very surprised to see Tracy at Ganassi. I agree Paul deserves to be in the series with a top ride and is still one of the best out there, but convincing the likes of Ganassi, that is another thing.

It could happen, but I think Ganassi is getting squeezed for cash, and PT won't drive for free.

PT was actually offered the Ganassi ride in the off season last winter, but made the huge mistake of re-signing with Forsythe.

Howdy this is my first post here.
When I was at the Edmonton Race spent some time at P.T. paddock on Thursday and got talking with the guy who help put his ride together. I ask if he was going to race again this year and what is next year going to bring. This guy said there will be some announcements coming in 3 weeks or so regarding Paul and sponcership, he did say Walker wants P.T. and Tags next year and sponcership is looking good. He did say there is a stong chance he will race again this year.

Welcome to the board, especially when you bring good news rumors like this. ;)

Hope it comes true, as Tracy, Tags, and Walker were some of ChampCar's most loyal guys and pretty much all got the shaft this year (even longer for Tag if you count his time served at Rocketsports). These three guys would be great together, but won't hold my breath.

Agreed. I think this would be a "dreamteam" for alot of PT fans. I would love to see this.
