I remember a thread from here that a member post some pics of a BMW Sauber F1.07 with some conversions on it. He just put the white stripe on the 4 tyres. So I did the same things.....but the things is..I used Marksman decal originally from the F2007 decal.... the white tyre stripe to place it on my minichamps F1.07. Now....its melting!!!! I can't remove the decals. When I place it on my glass cabinet...the tyre stick on it and it removes part of it.

However...if I manually use hands or water to remove it...it won't comes off. Can I use nail polish remover to apply on the rubber tyre...would this have negative effect on the tyre? Help!!!!!
:(

I noticed the same thing on my 2007 Wurz Williams, but I thought it was more of a reaction to the plastic HW tires, ie. the tires are melting the decal, but Minichamps too? I didn't try to remove and replace them, I just tell people it's the "raced" version. Funny enough, my 2007 Kimi Ferrari is fine and I used the decals from the same set.

I think it´s the softener (don´t know if it´s the right word for it) in the material of the tire. I have a Jackie Stewart Tyrell from minichamps and the tirre is melting the rims!!

It´s the same effect you can find in older remote controls, when you open them and look at the backside of the rubber keyboard.

Another of these effects I have on my 10year old Fittipaldi Lotus (Quartzo) which has its place on glass: under the tires i find the softener coming out like some kind of oil.

So, any solutions?

I think maybe because the rubber quality made by MC does not fit for decals but if u see Mattel's one..the rubber looks more like a plastic than a rubber..so I guess the decal will stays better in a Mattel tyre rather than MC's tyre. Unless...the tyres white stripe are painted, it will be better off!!
