Here's your chance to manage your very own Open Wheel Fantasy Racing team. Each race weekend on the Toronto Motorsports Fantasy League's schedule, you will be given a fictitious salary budget of $2,500,000.00 to purchase the drivers you feel will gain the most points for your Fantasy Team during that weekend. The more points your Team scores, the greater chance you have to win prizes.

Your team will be made-up by selecting drivers who are currently active in the Formula One and IndyCar series'. Most race weekends you will have to manage either your IndyCar Team or your Formula One Team, but there will also be seven “Double Header” weekends where both series are running at the same time. The “Double Header” and "Triple Header" weekend's mean you will have to select drivers for both series.... Double and Triple the budget, double and triple the fun!!!

You have at your disposal, a fictitious salary budget of $2,500,000.00 and are to use these funds to select a racing team with the greatest potential to score points.

This team will be made from you choosing active Indycar and Formula One drivers. Each driver is assigned a value based upon their points earning potential during the course of their respective racing series weekends.

You can pick as many or as few drivers as desired, but don't exceed your budget!!

Points will be paid to each driver who finishes in the top 16 of each their respective entered points races. 19 races from the 2013 Indycar season and 19 races from the 2013 Formula One season (total of 38 events) will make up the Fantasy League's official schedule. See rules (link below) for complete listings of selected races used in the pool. The team(s) with the highest number of points at the predetermined dates, will win prizes.

Summary:

  • NO CHARGE TO ENTER - only one entry per person and per unique email address.
  • Use your $2,500,000 to build a team each race weekend on the Fantasy League's Official Schedule
  • Create a team from the list of drivers competing that particular weekend.
  • spend your budget on drivers valued from $150,000 to $1,000,000
  • pick as many or as few drivers as you wish without exceeding your $2,500,000 budget.
  • Highest number of points accumulated at the payout weeks win prizes
  • there will be several prize weeks over the course of the season as well as a 1st half and 2nd half Championship
  • random draws for great prizes too
  • All entries must be submitted no later than Midnight of the Friday of the scheduled race weekend.
  • The Toronto Motorsports Fantasy Fantasy Racing League is open to all! Entries must be entered on-line with valid and complete contact information.

CHANGES and TIDBITS FOR 2013:

  • Points paid to the top 16 drivers in each series and for each race
  • One triple header weekend - Oct 5th and 6th. Two Indycar races and one Formula One.
  • BONUS: One Point paid for selecting the pole winner (except Indy 500)
  • BONUS: Two Points paid for selecting the driver who is clasified last (must start race)
  • Select from all your favorite active Formula One and IndyCar drivers
  • Formula One and IndyCar picks/teams are played separatly with their own $2.5 million budgets, but points are combined for standings
  • Formula One and IndyCar points totals are combined for weekly (Podium) prize payouts and also Championship totals
  • Pick a new Team of Drivers every race weekend
  • You are able to select a Team in advance of each race weekend
  • Picking on a regular basis increases your chances of winning the championship(s)
  • Enter every race weekend with the ability to edit/change your team prior to each races cut off times.
  • Podium Prizes to be awarded each race weekend with these said prizes to be announced the week prior.
  • 2 Championships - 1st half (March 17 - June 30) and 2nd half (July 7 - end of the Formula One Season)
